August Meeting
This months project was titled Luscious Landscapes.
Penny Elliott led the group demonstrating how felt lends itself to creating the wonderful textures, colours, shapes, & lines of the landscape. The group then worked on their own paintings in felt.
We look forward to seeing some photos of the finished pieces here on the blog after next months meeting.

Beanie Festival Winner - Lorraine McArthur
Opposites Attract was the theme for the 2015 Beanie Festival Competition held in Alice Springs this June.
We are so pleased to say that The Best Hand-felted Prize, The Ashford Prize for a wonderful work created using dry, wet, or knit and felt techniques, was won by Lorraine McArthur for her entry The Yurt - Home and a Hat.
Well done Lorraine.
