Early September a 160 feltmakers attended the 12th Southern Hemisphere Felting Convergence which is held every 2 years.  Five days of tutorials from attendees, international tutors.  Was a great event enjoyed by all.

Penny is demonstrating felting using a sander.  This is a new sander on the market it is cordless which makes it very safe to use.

Everyone needs a panel or two on a dress - lovely.

August meeting we had a visit and a lesson from Robin Inkpen from the Donnybrook Hookers who meet every Wednesday at the Guide Hall she demonstrated to the members rug hooking and prodding using fabric strips.  A great way to recycle all those fabrics, felt, clothes, linen we have waiting to be revived.
