Exhibition and Sale of artworks the whole weekend

at the

Stirling Street Arts Centre in Bunbury, Western Australia

The Bunbury Felting Group will be participating in this event. Organised by the Stirling Street Arts Centre, we will be taking part in the fashion show on Friday evening and an exhibition and sale of felt work over the weekend.

So why not drop in and see not only our work, but the work by members of the other Art Groups too.

August Monthly Meeting

We are well into August now, our Annual Exhibition and sale of scarves at Caf Fez has ended.
It was another successful event with many of the scarves having been sold. Thank You Kerry, and your helpers for setting up and taking down the exhibition and a huge Thank You to all the staff at Caf Fez for supporting us again this year.

Julie taught the workshop at the August meeting, demonstrating how to make 3D vessels using a technique she learnt from Anna Gunnarsdottir.

Also in August............

Kim, Emma, Julie and Denise organised the fashion show and stall at the Georgiana Molloy Anglican School at the beginning of the month. Despite the lights going out, it was a good evening.
We are now concentrating on our next event, the Fire, Fibre & Fine Arts Exhibition and sale at the Stirling Street Arts Centre from the 5th - 7th September.

July Monthly Meeting

Val demonstrated to members this month on how to use prefelts and by adding stitches, to make a 3D form. The pieces were then felted down to the stitched shape (hollow forms or ridges) resulting in a 3D effect, a surface design of mixed forms.
