A Busy Weekend

A group of us had a 'Girls Day Out' in Perth at the EveryWoman Expo on Saturday. We had been given the opportunity by MetroModelling to show a sample of our felt garments, STRETCH garments  and wings on the catwalk.

Then on Sunday we were back in Mandurah for the closing event of the STRETCH Festival - Common Threads Wearable Art Exhibition held at the wonderful Contemporary Art Spaces Gallery. It was a most enjoyable afternoon with many of the artists present to talk about their garments. It was the also the launch of the 2015 competition with the theme being FABRICATION. Hopefully there will be as many entries, or more, from the felting group in next years competition.
