More July

The Show and Talk table was full of our felt creations -

Kerry wore her gorgeous "rose" scarf -

And brought in her "guardian angel" made from felt

using the pattern from this book

Val brought in her lovely monkey - he's so smartly dressed - where did he get those chic velvet trousers from??

Maureen made some felt slippers - just the thing to keep tootsies warm these cold winter nights -

And Penny wore this superior necklace that was inspired by one worn by the fabulous Ruth Watson from Country House Rescue -

More from July

Denise's daughter is no slouch and clearly has inherited the "creative" gene.  Get ready to have your socks blown off by this amazing picture on a felt base.

July Meeting

Denise - Queen of the Christmas Decorations had also been keeping busy with some exquisite nuno work completed at an extensive felt workshop at New Norcia -

Beautiful isn't it.

So is this white shawl on "soapy gauze" -

And while we are at it, let's have a closer look at Denise's scarf -

More Softies

What a gorgeous sight the show and tell table at the July meeting.

Do you know that the collective term for a group of owls is a parliament of owls?

Is it because they are wise and wonderful?  Hmmmmm.  If the inspiration came from our Canberra parliament would the same noun be used or what would a more appropriate term be?  Answers on a postcard please.
