A Peacock Post

Calling all BFG Blogger fans...........introducing myself  ************Peacock with the news of the month......
I first have to report a very personal tragedy has occurred. I have not yet been given a
name. Someone of my standing, as one has come to accept, should be invested with a stupendous, and astonishing title.

My members, as you can see below, who I might say, have had the temerity to inscribe their names on my exquisite tail. They still have left me the undistinguished label of 'PEACOCK'. In this obscurity I was taken out for my first appearance on Saturday 22nd April at the Balingup Farm Field Day.
So dear readers, as you might imagine I am somewhat miffed! I, however, shall let you know when my investiture is imminent, which I expect to be very soon. Otherwise I shall have no option but to let out my famous cry.......on the other hand, that would be....may I say, a little......unseemly...for a PEACOCK of my standing! The upholder of the BFG banner!

In the meantime I shall do my duty as chief PEACOCK Reporter........
The Field Day proved to be a beautiful sunny Autumn day, with extremely good crowds. A number of our members worked very hard in presenting BFG's work, both under the BFG canopy, and especially on the runway. Our Group Leader, the accomplished Colleen, masterfully described our pieces on parade, with members and friends strutting their stuff on the catwalk.......

........Thanks to models [L to R] Emma, Sue #2, Diana, Kim and Rachel

 ..........and sweeping mantle.

Sue#2 wears her mad "Magpie" hat

That is not all fellow Bloggers......there's more news to come but this PEACOCK must get his imperial head under his wing for the night...until the next post Kee-Ow Kee-Ow.........Kee-Ow Kee Ow!
