Shifting Shapes Workshop

Friday the 28th April through to Sunday 1st May saw 11 of us busy at work with Nancy Ballesteros from Treetops Colour Harmonies.

Shifting Shapes - Coture Designs with silk hankies workshop

With Nancy's wonderful range of wool and silks, her generosity in teaching and fun personality, we spent 3 very full, hard working days learning how to handle those frustrating little silk hankies and concentrating on creating a well felted garment.

May's Happenings...

What a great start to the month of May.

Group member Penny Elliott, together with fellow artist Dawn Mathieson from the Stirling Street Arts Centre, hosted the opening night for their Quietly Quirky Exhibition at the Bunbury Art Gallery on the 6th May.
Their work has been very well received and the exhibition runs until the 29th May.

Saturday 7th May saw Sue Smorthwaites' 'A Bright Idea' Highly Commended at the Common Threads Wearable Art Showcase and Awards in Mandurah.
Well done to you all.
