17 Bunbury Felters packed up there cars for a 3 day weekend camp away in Augusta, Western Australia. This is our annual event where each member attending did a mini workshop and look at the results WOW. Great company, lots of chat, wonderful food and wine and 3 days of fabulous felting.

Make your own personal dressmakers mannequin to your own size - using duct tape, rubbish bag, scissors and a friend
Colleen been duct taped starting from under the bust, as you can see shaping the upper body then

then here it is after being cut, you then tape up the back area you cut to remove, make a stand, place your dressmakers mannequin, stuff with toy stuffing, making sure you cover armholes and base. 
There are lots of similar methods on the internet if wish to make your own.

Bunbury Felters Annual Camp weekend - felters came together with a frenzy of felting, eco dying, torso making, watching felt videos, lots of chat, eating, may be a bit of sleeping/resting - 3 days in Augusta a beautiful part of the south west. 
these ladies were kept busy I believe all weekend.
